This is the Original "NINJA" strop created here at Mountain Mike Custom Leather over 15 years ago. I develop this for my discerning wet shave customers requesting something unique and dramatic! I think this strop fits the bill. This entirely Black strop is very striking indeed. I'm very proud of it. I'm obviously not the only guy to offer entirely Black Strops these days online. But I assure you that I am the originator, I was the guy who gave it the "NINJA" name for obvious reasons. It's obviously very popular since I have been copied for obvious reasons. Is that obvious enough? Anyway, it is actually two strops in one. The secondary or prep strop is white cotton that I have hand dyed Black. It cleans impurities from the razor before applying it to the primary 3"x17" strop of 9/10 oz. Bridle leather. It has an even - firm draw. Note: Bridle is not tanned with waxes and oils, so it needs to be treated with conditioner before its first use. It has an even - firm draw. NOTE: Bridle leather is not tanned with waxes and oils, so it requires extra maintenance to prevent the moisture present in most wet shaving environs from causing "Cupping". Apply my "strop conditioner" generously took both sides of your new Bridle Strop before its first use, also 3 - 4 times a year lightly after that to help it stand up. Buff dry with a clean cloth. Assembled using High Quality Anodized swivel, ring, and "D" ring handle, with black chicago screws to add Distinct Elegance, and make replacing worn parts simple.
